The Shed is a cultural center that commissions and presents a wide range of activities in visual arts, performing arts, and pop culture. Architecturally, it is quite amazing – the building’s roof features an 8,000,000-pound retractable roof that can open and close in 15 minutes. When the roof is deployed, the structure can accommodate up to 2,000 people.
